Is God At Work In Your Life? If Not, You Need To Partner With Him To Live Your Calling.

Walking In The Promised Land

If you're ready to follow Jesus, then you're ready to walk down a path that is twofold. It is a path for you alone, yet it connects to all paths that lead to God's Kingdom. It is conjoined to all other Christians following God's will which is collectively known as the Body of Christ.

You will find your path where your heart, not your head leads you, yet it is through your mind, transformed by the Word, that will be a part of the process to envision the purposes, plans and pursuits that God has given you to accomplish through your ministry, career or business.

So before you continue, it's important that you learn if you are to serve God within the church as minister, teacher, etc., or outside the church in a marketplace ministry through some type of business or employment. We are all called to be ministers.

Those who minister within the church are called "priests" and those outside the church "Kings." When you understand the difference between the church ministry and the marketplace ministry, the next step is to know which one of these two ministries you were called to serve or lead.

             Christian Cross
Revelation 1:6 tells us:  "And has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."  Knowing this begins the destiny discovery process.

The Difference Between The Biblical Priest and King

The Christian Priest (the church pastor, minister, teacher, etc.)

Most people have no problem identifying what a pastor, minister or priest's function is in the church.  They are the spiritual leaders of our local churches and we look to them for our spiritual needs and to perform church functions such as baptism, communion, weddings, funerals, etc.

They are men and women who are to be leaders, yet filled with the Holy Spirit, God's love, compassion, wisdom, understanding, the gifts of the spirit and a commitment to God for feeding His sheep and teaching them how to function as Christians successfully with the Word.

God At Work Through The Christian King In The Marketplace Ministry

If you were not called by God to be a "priest" then God has called you to be a "king" in a marketplace ministry.

Your marketplace ministry can begin with the work, career or business you are fulfilling this moment. All you need to do is take the first step with God and whatever it is that you're doing will make a 180 degree turn around for success and financial increase, not to mention the impact for Christ on your community. As you continue to follow God, you will be led to greater success and perhaps other areas of business, ministering as God leads.  God's "Kings are to supply the "Priests" or local churches with great financial fruits as well as any ministry work in the marketplace.

If you don't have a job, you're retired, or you are independently wealthy, you can still be a king if that is where God has called you. You can make an impact for Christ through your hobbies, talents and abilities. God in all His wisdom has a plan for you alone!

Priests and Kings are to work together as ministers for the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Both Priests and Kings are to fulfill their functions while working together using faith over their towns, cities, counties, states, and countries for peace, success, prosperity and most important, salvation for the lost.
