Once You Read The Book, You'll Know That Lucifer, aka Satan, Is Not A Mythical Character!

An Interview With Lucifer

About An Interview With Lucifer by Eddie Cruz

The book exposes Lucifer as the deceiving angel that he is.  It will show you why he separated from God and what he did when he rebelled against Jesus Christ.

You're also going to find out why Lucifer hates mankind and how we're able to avoid his tricking us into turning away from Christ. The purpose of the book is to expose his tactics and inspire you to seek after Jesus by living God's Word.

Some people don't believe there is a devil, but as you dare to read this revealing book you'll learn the truth about this fallen angel. He was cast out from heaven, even though he was God's Angel. Now he tells all in this fictional representation of an interview with Lucifer, aka Satan, at Madison Square Garden.

See below for my review of this innovative and cleverly written book.

An Interview With Lucifer by Eddie Cruz

Review By Margaret Lukasik

If you are ready for something completely different in the realm of Christian books, then you must read Eddie Cruze's book, An Interview with Lucifer. The book is a brilliant work of fiction interwoven with scripture and Biblical history to make the interview believable and up-to-date. However, the concept embodies a unique story. The interview takes place in Madison Square Garden in the present day. It is televised, with the stadium packed to capacity and the interview to be televised around the world. On stage there are two participants, the interviewer and Lucifer. The interviewer, and later the audience ask questions of the devil who agrees to answer them truthfully "most of the time."

While this is a book of fantasy concerning the interview, I felt that Mr. Cruz managed to relay the truth that the devil is happy with people who don't believe in him because then they don't believe in Jesus, so without redemption he automatically receives souls that will go to hell. His goal is to get as many souls as he can into his realm, which is his way of winning the war that he started in heaven. To him the war continues and he believes he will win. One theme is constant in the book, if one wants to get to heaven, then that person must be a true believer, be prayerful, and follow Jesus' teachings. Eddie Cruz gives many examples of Christians who go to church on Sunday but on Monday and the rest of the week they cheat, steal, lie, gossip, lust, and generally fail at being full-time Christians. These are the people Lucifer is happy with, he applauds them, knowing they will soon be in his fold.

The story starts slowly with Lucifer being a little intimidated but as the interview continues he gets bolder and more powerful with his answers. The audience mostly believes that this is a hoax and that a man is playing the part of Lucifer. When unbelievers ask questions Lucifer is strong and happy, letting them know it's OKAY not to believe in him; and better yet, it's OKAY if they don't believe in God or Jesus. As he says there are only two choices, for man will surely die and then his life decisions will determine where his soul will go for eternity, heaven or hell.

When a true believer from the audience questions the devil he becomes agitated and has them thrown out of the stadium. As the interview continues it becomes apparent the devil has a greater motive than informing humans of his goals. The ending was very appropriate and left me with a real feeling that the deceiver is always after us and that our very souls are always at stake.

The story should be read by all Christians as it will make them re-evaluate their lives and how they can be more faithful to God in their everyday living. However, it will find it's true mark with the unbeliever or doubter because it will give them thoughts to ponder, realities to dwell upon and profound questions that can be clearly answered by reading An Interview With Lucifer.

I believe the main purpose of An Interview With Lucifer is to get people's attention for following Jesus Christ and to read God's Word so they will not be diverted from living it and spending eternity in heaven.
